Had a fantastic weekend here with friends, we had use of the house and glamping pods. The house is beautifully renovated to a high standard and the pods are spacious and warm. just home from spending the weekend here, would highly recommend a stay here. We were part of a large group and they catered for us to have laser tag, mobile bar and a BBQ to be on site. I couldn't recommend Making Tracks enough. John Cleary

Se puede reservar desde su pagina web o desde airbnb. Tanto si te quedas poco si vas de paso como si te gusta experimentar la Irlanda rural, es una pasada: otro concepto. Las duchas y los baños están en zonas comunes así como el espacio de cocina. Los diferentes huéspedes interactúan. Se conoce gente de cualquier lugar. Muy auténtico. El dueño es muy majo, siempre queriendo promocionar el deporte nacional. Las rutas en carreta, aunque nosotros no las hemos "cogido" tienen que estar muy bien.

Wir haben im August 2025 vier Tage mit einem Wagen von Making Tracks verbracht. Das Pferd war sehr ruhig und freundlich, und die Wege waren schön, wenn auch nicht ganz so still, wie wir erwartet hatten (etwa alle 20 Minuten kam ein Auto vorbei). Alle Übernachtungsplätze hatten Toiletten und Duschen, und zwei von drei verfügten außerdem über eine gut ausgestattete Küche mit Mikrowelle, Ofen, Kühlschrank usw. Der Wagen ist sehr platzsparend gestaltet. Hinten gibt es ein großes Bett (ca. 1,90 x 1,30 m). Vorne befinden sich zwei Stockbetten. Wir haben das obere eingeklappt und das untere ausgezogen, wodurch ein weiteres großes Bett entsteht (ca. 1,90 x 1,30 m). Das ist ideal für zwei Erwachsene oder zwei Erwachsene mit 1–2 Kindern. Für 3 oder 4 Erwachsene ist es allerdings definitiv zu klein. Emily ist jederzeit telefonisch erreichbar, erklärt genau, welche Route man nehmen soll, und kommt sogar zum Campingplatz, wenn man es nicht schafft, das Pferd anzuschirren (was eigentlich kein Problem sein sollte, wenn man bei ihrer Einführung gut aufgepasst hat). Es ist auf jeden Fall eine sehr entspannte Art zu Reisen.

Onverwacht hier een lodge geboekt nadat onze tent stuk was in een storm. De gastvrouw ontving ons heel vriendelijk, lodge was kraaknet en ge gezamenlijke ruimte (keuken,...) had alles wat wij nodig hadden! Een aanrader voor wie tot rust wil komen, hier komen wij graag nog eens terug!

Lovely place in an idyllic setting on the Irish countryside. Easily accessible by train from Dublin, get off at Ballybrophy and walk for 5mins. Just need a place to camp up for the night and found Making Tracks online , fantastic little spot in the beautiful Laois countryside, Emily was very welcoming and the site has fantastic facilities, showers , kitchen, utensiIs, fridge freezer etc. Will definitely try one of the glamping pods next time!
